Session 7—’They're Dead, Now What?' (Ray Francis)

               (Ray will discuss the signs of irreversible death and explain what will happen next. What you can do to comfort the patient's friends and family while awaiting for additional authorities to arrive))

Session 8—'Disaster-The First 6 Hours Have Passed, Now What?' (Bill Weeks)

                (Bill will look at some aspects that first responders and community members may begin to deal with in the early stages following the initial response to a disaster.)


Session 9—’
Mother Goose on the Loose' (Pete Lazzara)

                (This is a selection of nursery rhymes for the EMS provider.  'Goose' looks at some common and not so common pediatric problems.  This case study style class will assist the EMS provider with improving their pediatric assessment and treatment skills.)

Session 10—’Air Goes In and Air Goes Out, Blood Goes Round and Round’ by Ken Exner
            (In this interactive dissection lab on the cardio/pulmonary systems.  Get In and Get Dirty...lots to see and learn!)

           (First Responder and EMS roles and responsibilities at/on a fire department controlled scene , being proactive instead of reactive)

Session 13—Lifting and Moving (Stretcher, Scoop, KED & Portable Stretcher)

Session 14—EPI-Pen, Blood Glucose & SpO2  (FOR FIRST RESPONDERS)

Session 15EPI-Pen, EPI-Injections, Blood Glucose, SpO2, NPA, BVM, King Airway (For EMR, EMT, PCP's, **NPA just for EMT and Higher, EPI-Injections and King Airways just for PCP's**
