PETER LAZZARA, NREMT-P, BS
Peter is a 25 year veteran in EMS
and is currently a Paramedic-in-Charge with the Chicago Fire Department. As
a former teacher at a large all boys' School, Peter brings years of
classroom experience to his presentations. He presently is an adjunct
instructor with Chicago City Wide Colleges, Gateway Community College,
Racine Wisconsin and Loyola University Medical Center. Pete served for six
years as EMS coordinator at Children's Memorial Hospital of Chicago where he
gained outstanding experience in the field of pediatrics. He also has
several years of critical care transport experiences as a flight medic with
Loyola University Medical Center's LifeStar Aeromedical Program.
He is the founder and President of EMSed, an educational
company specializing in EMS educational concepts. He has received several
awards for his work in the area of EMS including the Illinois Department of
Public Health's Ron W. Lee, MD Memorial Award for "Excellence in Pediatric
Care" as well as the Illinois Department of Child and Family Service's
"Program Excellence Award". He is a nationally recognized speaker and
presents at EMS conferences nationwide.
TIM HILLIER, ACP
Tim
Hillier began his career in 1984 as a volunteer “Ambulance Driver” (his
words) in his hometown of Rivers Manitoba, population 800.
His love of the profession moved him to Saskatoon Saskatchewan where
he continued his training and moved up the ranks going from EMT to
Paramedic, Shift Supervisor to Director of Education.
He has a passion for teaching others and currently holds instructor
certifications in ACLS, BCLS, BTLS, and CAMATA (Aeromedicine).
He currently lives just outside of Saskatoon on 10 acres with his
wife Eileen and their two horses, four cats and a dog named Grunt.

BOB FENNER
Bob Fenner began his EMS career as a First Responder in Dundurn,
Saskatchewan and enjoyed the training so much he just never stopped.
Bob is now a Advanced Care Paramedic, currently working full time
with SIAST in Saskatoon and part time at M.D> Ambulance.
He has been in the profession of EMS over 17 years and still working
in the field. Bob is also
a First Responder Instructor as well as teaches the entire alphabet of EMS
related courses – AED, ACLS, BLS, ITLS, and on and on.
PAT MORRIS
Pat Morris is paramedic with over 25 years in EMS.
Works full time with M.D. Ambulance in Saskatoon.
Currently stationed at SK Air Ambulance, previously stationed at RUH
Emergency. Pat took the first
critical care flight paramedic course in 2000 for Air Ambulance.
Frequent lecturer at Interphase, First Response Manitoba Interact, as
well at the First Responder Development/Recert conferences.

KEN EXNER
Ken is
currently teaching at Regina Wascana SIAST – ICP and PCP Course.
Previously,
Ken was a member of the Regina Fire Department Training Division as the
"Emergency Medical Training Captain".
He also worked with Regina Emergency Medical Services as a Paramedic
and Relief Operations Supervisor.
He
has been a First Responder instructor 15 years and an instructor of the
"Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Course" for 8 years.
Ken was a guest speaker at the First Responder Development/Recert in Moose
Jaw for many years.
BILL WEEKS
Bill has spent 21 years working with M.D. Ambulance in Saskatoon as an ACP
in various roles including operations supervisor, tatical medic, crew
training and flight medic. he is currently the Pandemic Planning
Coordinator for the Saskatoon Health Region.
